Disappointing
My 5 year old is crazy for the Avatar and was very excited to find this toy in the toy store. We opened it up and tried it out and it was disappointing from the get go.
* The mask is thick and relatively heavy (to hold the batteries for the arrow) and the maker saw fit to only put one strap across the back of the mask. There was no way to make it stay up on it's own. My boy gamely tried to hold it in place.
* The arm unit isn't concave on the back, where it meets the child's arm. So it is also very difficult to secure.
* The two darts come out with such a weak trajectory that they are comical. You'd be luck to get two feet of distance out of them.
* The water squirter is also anemic. Imagine being spat at by a mouse.
The end result was crying and a return to the store to find something better.
We love Ang but stay away from this piece of junk!

Happy with purchase
i bought this toy for my son for xmas 09. we have been following Avatar for years and he honestly thinks he is AAng lol. i have been searching online for months to purchase something from this fictional character with no success, then we came about this item. My son LOVES this toy. the strap fits well on his head and even tho the mask is a bit heavy he doesnt seem to mind at all. the water blaster is ok too but he is more concerned with the mask than anything. at the time the item was much cheaper but even if it was this price then i would still buy it for him.

not up to standards
Batteries were dead in it, and can't find the right batteries for it, and the ones that are close to them are expensive!!!!!!!!!!
