GREAT PRODUCT
This suit is ADORABLE as well as lightweight, soft, breathable, and protective. Took my 4.5 month-old son out for an hour in the late afternoon sun in Barbados, where it was about 85 degrees (& breezy), and he was comfortable and got zero sun/color. The hood is generous, but if you're not carrying your child (& able to shade his face with your own hat), you'd want a sunhat, too.
falling apart
The outfit is soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, the material is weak: it came apart from the snap closure in the middle after only 2 uses. We only stayed out half a day each time so changed her diaper 1-2x each outing. Therefore, at most, we've snapped/unsnapped the outfit 8 times before it started to fall apart. Washed the outfit per instructions. My baby didn't even swim with this outfit; only used as sun protection. She also does not crawl yet so the outfit really did not see any abuse. I'll have to fix it somehow or just let her diaper show through. Kind of disappointed considering the price I paid of $36. Would have bought again if not for that.
