Not as "Easy" as they make it look!
I bought the Jeep Trek Easy Travel Play Yard for my new grandson to sleep in when he is at my home. I like so many things about it......the large wheels make it very easy to roll around and the built in storage is very handy. My grandson is only three months old and still using bassinet, so I can't comment on the "Play Yard" aspect. I have not yet tried to pack it. Although the video makes it look very easy......I am NOT convinced. The one thing I don't like about it is that it is very difficult to get the baby in and out of the bassinet. Look at the design.....between the mobile and the changer this Grandma has to be a contortionist to get the baby in and out without hurting him. This issue will be resolved as he is about to out-grow the changer and I will take it off. :) Overall.....I really like it.

I was very excited about this product. I thought the extra storage area would be great for traveling with my little one as we wouldn't need to use a separate suitcase, but it ended up not being too great for us, and yet we continue to use it, so it gets 2 stars. My little one is 18 months. We have only used it for car travel, and not on a daily basis.
Pros:
- Seems sturdy to us. I haven't worried about it collapsing or anything.
- My daughter doesn't have any problem sleeping in it.
- Rolls around fine. We haven't had any problems with the handles.
Cons:
- Is very bulky and heavy. Doesn't fit in my trunk. We have to use my husband's hatchback when we travel with this. (A separate suitcase would have been easier overall.) And little else fits.
- Does take a bit of muscle to open and close. It's also kind of awkward, since you have to tip it sideways or upside down to zipper stuff closed. Make sure you have things secured inside before you do that obviously.
- The sleep area is an odd size and regular pack and play sheets don't work. I've taken to pinning them underneath the pad.
- Zippers on the storage area easily catch and break. So far I've been able to fix them, but it's really annoying.
wish i could have tried it before I bought it..
I thought this was a really cool play/travel yard when I first put it together. I picked it out because it looked smaller and we are in a small place but then I realized a standard packnplay sheet would not fit properly. I was unable to find one by the Jeep brand so I used the standard packnplay sheet but it would come up and get bunched. I also had the zipper get caught on the fabric after about a week so now it continues to catch. I stopped closing it up so that it wouldn't break off completely.
I do really like the wheels on the one side. It's very easy to move around. The built in storage was cool too. However, my newborn daughter didn't seem to like laying in it much. After a few minutes she would start fussing and she doesn't do that in her crib or seats. It's not padded well so I guess it's just uncomfortable for her. I really wish that Amazon had offered the free return shipping when I purchased this so I could have picked something else.
